SUPPLY CHAIN PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

The easiest way to change people behaviour is to change the way that they are being measured.  Eli Goldratt said “Show me how you measure me and I will show you how I perform”.

During this highly practical workout, you will learn how to leverage management information across the Supply Chain.  Your decisions are influenced by the information you receive – in this workout you will learn how to use the correct measurements to achieve exponential improvement.

The session will aim to focus on the following learning objectives:

  • How to align performance measures across the Supply Chain.

  • How to use performance measures to drive people behaviour and decision-making.

  • How to identify the root cause of problem areas, using the performance management system.

  • Understand the relationship between strategy and performance management.

  • Understand the difference between balanced and aligned performance measures.

  • How to identify the key performance measures per Supply Chain area.

  • How to define and measure a golden thread through the organisation.

After the session you will be able to do the following:

  • Determine if your Departmental Performance measures are aligned with each other as well as with your strategy

  • Identify the critical performance measures per area.

  • Differentiate between aligned performance measures and balanced performance measures.

  • Cascade performance measures from strategy to operations

  • Ensure that the performance management drive and monitor execution of your strategy.
