You will also have to deal with common organisational difficulties - resources, supply chain architecture and capacity constraints, information overload (and yet, uncertainty) and time constraints. You’ll experience the emotional involvement, the adrenaline of competition and the disappointments and successes of your decisions.  And have a lot of fun doing it! 

Importantly, you will be exposed to the knowledge and experience of Hoffman van Zyl, managing director of Enterprise Insight, and also developer of the Business Challenge.  He will facilitate the session, coach you, guide you and discuss pertinent issues.

Hoffman van Zyl is a decision support analyst of 15 years standing, advising senior decision makers on strategy and policy-making.  He studied engineering and also completed his Masters in Strategy.  He held several management positions in a production and engineering environment and then founded Enterprise Insight, a company that for the past ten years had been focusing on helping management cope with complexity.  He is the Managing Director of Enterprise Insight.
